About Kamenstein
Kamenstein has made a name in American kitchens since 1893, and it is still a name for small, useful things: the rack by the stove, the mill on the table, the roll by the sink.
Room for what you reach for
Most kitchens have the same few problems. Spices end up in a drawer where no label can be read, salt and pepper wander off the table, a paper towel roll unravels when you pull it one-handed, and garlic and onions sit in a plastic bag. Every piece in the Kamenstein catalog answers one of those.
The racks hold the jars where you can read them: around a turning tower, on a low carousel, on three wire steps or in a shallow frame on the wall. Nearly all of them arrive with the jars filled and labeled, and our product descriptions for several racks say the jars are filled and sealed in Winchendon, Massachusetts.
Five shelves of the catalog
Spice racks come first: towers of sixteen and twenty jars, the Ellington carousel, the Lincoln tiered rack and bamboo racks for the wall or a drawer. Grinders come next: electric ones for the stove, manual mills for the table, filled pairs and two-in-one pieces.
Our paper towel holders all tear on the Perfect Tear ratchet, on a weighted base or on a wall bracket. The Ceramic and Cork collection pairs glazed ceramic with natural cork: stacking canisters, a two-tier produce bowl, a garlic keeper, a salt pig and a cellar. A small pantry shelf adds empty jars, spice sets, a coffee pod holder and trivets.
Who it is for
Anyone who cooks most evenings and wants the counter to work for them: a first apartment with one shelf of spices, a family kitchen with a jar for every recipe, a camper with salt and pepper that click together. The pieces are sized for real counters, and every product page gives the measurements so you can check the spot before you buy.
How we keep the figures
Jar counts, spice lists, sizes, batteries and what is in the box come from our own product descriptions. Prices come from our scheduled catalog update, and the checkout of our retail partner always has the final word. Ratings are those shoppers left there, and the colors of one piece share one pool of ratings.
