One hand on the grinder, one on the pan
An electric grinder earns its place at the stove, where the other hand is holding a spoon or the handle of a pan. The Traditional Glossy grinder keeps the shape of a classic 10-inch mill and grinds at the push of a button on six AAA batteries, which are not in the box. The Battery Grinder with Light switches on a small light as it grinds, so you see how much lands in the pan.
The USB gravity grinder starts when you turn it over and stops when you set it upright. It charges by cable, with about 45 minutes of grinding on a full charge. All three use ceramic burrs, which do not rust, and all three take salt or peppercorns, so many cooks keep two.
Each of these belongs to Kamenstein kitchen storage, and the full salt & pepper grinders shelf has the rest.
A grinder with a built-in battery goes to a battery recycler at the end of its life, not into the trash.
